My sister Amanda and I have always admired those colorful hair wraps that you can get at the beach. We decided we would learn how to do them this summer and have been giving each other hair wraps while watching Phantom of the Opera. So far I have already given her three hair wraps including a "hipster," "rasta," and "girly" one.
To make a hair wrap (and it is very easy) you braid a small portion of hair, tie embroidery floss in a knot at the top of the braid (close to your scalp) and start wrapping it around the braid. So easy! You can find better instructions here though.
Now that we have our hair wraps our self confidence has skyrocketed. Watch out, we might just do our whole head and end up with dreadlocks. That would be cool huh?
