Another post about walkers

I took pictures of the Walker family, I love how they turned out! Actually this is the first "family" pictures I have taken. It was more challenging than just taking couples pictures, but it was really fun and totally worth it. We took so many cute pictures and I wish I could put them all on here but here are some of my favorites. Thanks Vandi!

Pimp My Ride!

Consider me the new Mad Mike, not pimpin up cars.... but walkers. My grandmother is now ballin around in style. I kinda want to do all of the aluminum, but she only wanted the front done. All she needs now is her fuzzy dice.

During physical therapy my grandmas therapist said that she could actually get me a lot of work pimping out other peoples walkers but... that would be in Maryland. I think it would be fun to paint flames and racing stripes on one of them.

For Christy

Christy and I were just messing around one day and I took these. And also, I don't know if you guys think the whole watermark thing is cheesy or w/e but I've just had several incidents with theivery and it kinda annoyed me. Anyway, Christy if you want these just come over and I'll burn the good version for you. :)

Temple to temple relay

It is 32.7 miles from the Idaho Falls temple to the Rexburg temple. Our team ran it in five hours and nineteen minutes. Here we are at the starting point... IF temple

and at the ending point, after we were dying, in Rexburg. They had a school photographer take these two pictures.

Other than heather and Nate, our other teammates were Trevor, Oksana, Kari, Stephen, Travis, and Tim. It was fun cheering everyone on but then it really hurt when it was your turn to run. I ran the shortest distance but it seriously felt like forever.

Tim had the last and the hardest leg, from the highway, all the way up the hill to the temple. Here is heather passing off some water to poor Tim.

At the end we all ran with him through the finish line and everyone was seriously sprinting and I wasn't expecting that so I kinda fell behind oops

Pocatello or Inkom I don't really know

Wherever Caribou National Forest is, thats where we were. We went there the same weekend as the fair. I heard about it at the art seminars I went to but didn't know it was like 5 mins from McKays house. Apparently it gets covered in yellow flowers and is really pretty. I don't know when all those flowers bloom but we only saw a little bit. oh well. We did see a teepee though which totally made it worth the drive :) hehe

This picture hurts my eyes, sorry if it does it to you too. Oh and hey, I want another victim to take pictures of this weekend so let me know if your interested

Blackfoot fair

Last weekend we went down to Pocatello and to the Blackfoot fair. It was really fun seeing Layne, Veronica, Maren, Steve, Tanner, and Melanie and all of their kids. We don't see any of them very often so it was nice. This is our nieces and nephews "milking" the "cow" that was empty. I was a little too late but all of them were grabbing the plastic cow at the same time. They are so cute!

And the food... SOO expensive ($6 for a drink!), but good (elephant ears!) DO NOT try the deep fried Snickers bar... VERY DISGUSTING (we learned that last time)

It was fun watching the kids when they saw the animals. Ethan is scared of them, Skyler doesn't care about them, and Gavin loved them. They were cracking us up the whole time.

I went off by myself for a little bit to take these experiment pictures, which, was kind of creepy

Jet Stream

One friday when McKay was at work my sister invited me to go to the Jet Stream with her, Stephen, Stacy, Sam, and his little brother. It sounds a lot scarier than it actually is but basically you jump into a river that will push you thirty feet down the river. This would probably be super fun with tubes or something but I only thought of that when I was typing this.

In order to get to a good jumping spot in the river you have to swim to the other side first. That is really hard with when the current is so fast (don't worry it calms down right after the fast part so no one will get swept away to Montana or something) The water is probably 20ft deep in the middle but very shallow on the sides. Very fun!
