Family pictures

So I was feeling a little jealous of all of the people I have been taking pictures of because they have been getting cool family pictures and McKay haven't had any nice pictures since our wedding day (which was 4 years ago!)  So we decided that we were going to pay for our pictures done.  The nice thing about Rexburg is that nice pictures only cost $30.  I'm pretty sure that if we waited until we moved to Boston it would have been wayy more expensive.  So thanks to vivianmathiasphotography we got some! yay! Oh and a special shoutout to Sharon who made me look awesome! Thanks!

This red one is my most favorite of all!!
I'm sorry if this picture grosses you out but we are married. ok people?! and this is my favorite kissy picture.
The feet one is McKay's favorite
And this one is his other favorite

The biggest baddest yellowstone trip

So we had family come out and visit right before we leave.  We did mainly touristy stuff like Jackson and Yellowstone but it was still fun.

This is on the way to mesa falls, McKay and I just did this by ourselves but it was fun. I took this because I have a feeling I'm going to miss the big sky our here

This is a random picture I took on our way down to salt lake onetime.  but i liked it.

HDR attempt

I don't have any HDR software so I had to jimmyrig this picture. I didn't have a tripod so that added a couple of huge speed bumps to the process.  oh well. I think came out alright... even though I see a mistake there, and there, and there, and there... I just want to be done *sigh*

The barn was kinda hard to find, so just incase any of you want to visit it go up 89 in Jackson and then go past the airport and Moose.  Then turn right onto antelope flats road and then right on Mormon Row.  If you are a photographer I would recommend going during sunrise b/c the lighting would be amazing.   It was seriously the most beautiful place ever.  I wish I could live there.

Springtime

FINALLY! Spring is real. and it is here. officially. After years of snow the tree in our backyard started to bloom... yesterday! Hallelujah! The snow killed the buds last year and so it didn't bloom but not this year.  The leaves just came out too. Happiness!
Along with the leaves coming out so is the flooding... A LOT
there are tons of frogs here now.  The sound is deafening.
We even had to officially start off the warm weather with a massive BBQ. yay us!

Welcome to the Jungle

This is the last pictures I am going to post on here for a while.  This was a hike we did in Hawaii.  It was really fun.  When I was coming around a bend in the trail all the sudden I found McKay like this...

This was the hike where I got that cut and popped my hip out of its socket.  That seriously hurt like crazy.  We wore our swimming suits again so we would be prepared to swim but there was no water to jump in.  sad :( But we saw things that were just as fun and it was one of the funniest things we did.
Don't ask me what McKay is doing in this picture.  I just thought it was funny.  He might be kicking a stump or something.
random ferns and stuff that had cool texture...
Bamboo forest... pretty awesome!!
View... AMAZING!

Water Aerobics is NOT for the weak!!!!

So today I reluctantly went to water aerobics with Jessica. I went thinking that it was for old people with bad joints and social dysfunctions. Contrary to popular belief, water aerobics is for normal people too. As a matter of fact, most of those other people were in better shape than I was. I was huffing and puffing soon after the workout began and, while clinching to the side of the pool, mustered out a desperate prayer. I prayed to become very bloated, filling me up with noxious gases, thus becoming more buoyant. Didn't work! As I bobbed up and down, I kept on getting a glare from the lady to the side of me. I knew what what was thinking too: "You pathetic little wimp! You can't even float?" Feeling the pressure to succeed at this tiny task, I began to venture out into the deeper, open water. I then quickly retreated. My feeble attempts of bravery, proceeded by the mental mockery of that lady happened for an hour. I give Jessica tons credit for doing it, and doing it well. She definitely put me in my place. I guess I'm not so tough after all. Thanks Jess!
