No food or drink

This week I have been giving tours in the art gallery for my art methods class. This was a unusually small group, normally we had 50 people per tour.  

The gallery was filled with abstract and nonrepresentational lithographs by Wulf Barsh.  Some of the groups I had passionately HATED his work and refused to acknowledge it as art.  The last couple of tours loved his work and I found the personality differences between the different groups very interesting.

Finishing touches

I decided that I wanted to make a bookmark for each of my books I made.  They will serve as a bookmark, price tag, and a list of the materials used.

I also decided that it would be good to somehow put my logo into my books.

I carved my logo out of a pink eraser and stamped it into each book! 

It worked very well!

Now that all of the stamping and bookmarks are finished it is time to say good bye and put them in the mail... :(

There's an explanation for everything...

During the recent school break I made a big mess.

But more importantly I made books!

I am planning on selling them at a christmas craft fair in MD.

I have been making them like crazy so it would be worth selling them there.

The spine of this book is brown goatskin leather.  

I made several other books out of this material and it is practically perfect in every way

Unfortunately, I only have enough left for one more book... *tear*

I made a bazillion more but posting that would take up too much space...
