Road Trip

Our last meal in Rexburg was at Frontier Pies at 9:00 at night.  We had spent all day cleaning, went there for dinner and then went back to cleaning until 2:00 am.  We were the most exhausted we have ever been in our entire lives and that apartment looked good.  It looked way better than when we moved in.  And the stupid thing is that the managers still said that our apt was dirty and it didn't look like we had done anything and they wanted us to pay them $20 an hour to clean it.  Thankfully Braiden and Sharon helped out with that. The whole ordeal really ticked us off and makes me feel like they are scamming people.  So don't let it happen to you.  grrrrr

Our plan was to get from Idaho to Maryland.  We are moving to Boston after we visit and solidify an apartment.  But our goal for this week was to make it to Maryland.  It took us 4 days to get there.  We were hoping to make it in 3 but of course the Budget Truck that we had broke down and that set us back a day.  We got all of the signs of the states we drove through except for Iowa and that was because it was too dark.  I have the Illinois sign too but I didn't include it b/c it would make it odd and screw up my organization process on this blog.
Utah...
Wyoming...
Cool old windmill friend
Our blowout in Burns, WY. Luckily Burns is like 20 mins away from Cheyenne and we were rescued by my roommates who lived there.
It took the roadside assistance people 4 hours to get us back on the road again and by that time it was already 1:00am so we went back to Cheyenne and spent the night in Emily's room.  And the next day we spent most of the day waiting in the mechanic shop.  But eventually we got that heap rolling again.
windmill!  It almost seems like these things can hypnotize you when you are driving because of the spinning and the spinning and the spiinnnnniiinnnnnggggggg...
Iowa...
West Virginia, one of the other places I wouldn't mind living besides Tetonia.
more west virginia

Here is a really cheesy movie I made of our apt, packing and then moving. It's kinda long but then so was our trip. I made it using my minuscule movie making skills. Enjoy!

Sounds like a long trip out to Maryland! Good luck with finding a place to live and everything- you guys will all do great! Leaving Rexburg is kind of a bittersweet feeling, huh! I hope you like Boston and much as you loved Rexburg.

Man, this brings back memories. Good luck with everything. Moving can be a bit of a pain.
